Aussie obsessed?!

My favourite haircare products!

Aussie Take the Heat Leave-in spray-

This spray is a savior for when I straighten or blow-dry my hair! It  is especially for heat-damaged hair although it prevents your hair from becoming damaged by the heat! I straighten my hair A LOT and so it becomes a bit straw-like however with this product I've noticed changes. My hair feels and looks a lot healthier and this smells soooo good! Every aussie product is known for their amazing smells! It has special ingredients to combat heat-damaged hair and I must say it works really well. I just spray it through my hair before straightening it when my hair is dry or I spray it after a shower with damp hair before I hairdry it. :')
Aussie Luscious long leave-in conditioner (limited edition)

Okay, so this may be limited edition however they do basically the exact same thing normally, I think this just has a different smell. This is for long hair that is 'pining for protection' and what I normally do is I spray liberally through damp hair after I've had a shower or a bath and comb through and this makes my hair really soft and smooth when it dries! I think it works best if you leave it to dry naturally as the product stays in more. I am definitely repurchasing this (the non-limited edition of course).
Aussie Miracle hair insurance leave-in conditioner

This is the version I was talking about before which is exactly the same as the limited version above. This works in the exactly same way, you just spray on damp hair then leave it and wait for the magic to happen! This has Australian jojoba oil in which makes hair super smooth and soft. This smells delicious too just like the other Aussie products.

Aussie Miracle moist conditioner
-for hair that is dry/damaged/ a bit unhappy

This saves my dry hair from heat styling tools! I straighten my hair almost everyday and so this is a pick up for my hair and makes my hair healthy and soft again. This is not my favourite conditioner as it doesn't smell as good as the shampoo however this works great! I would recommend the tresomme (did I spell that right?) conditioner if you're looking for a top quality smoothing conditioner. This is still amazing though...
 Aussie Miracle Moist shampoo

-For hair that is dry/damaged/ a bit unhappy!
THIS IS MY ALL TIME FAVOURITE AUSSIE PRODUCT AND MY FAVOURITE SHAMPOO!

this smells absolutely delicious I can't even describe, you have to go smell this for yourself! Next time you're in a drugstore go smell this please please please, you'll thank me afterwards :)

This not only smells amazing but it works really well! It feels really fresh and clean on the hair and well whats better than a good smelling shampoo? This has Australian macadamia nut oil in which is good for the hair and this also has a special moisture infuser as I suffer from dry hair due to heat styling products this is what saves my hair! Go try it NOW! PLEASE I BEG YOU x
Okay so I appear not to have mentioned the prices above, Aussie products are quite expensive but not toooooo out of range! they're about 5 pound maybe for a bottle? But I usually find special offers of 3 for 2 or buy 1 get one free etc. I would recommend, they last ages too! I've just recently ran out of the 'limited editon leave-in conditioner' and I swear I got this for like Christmas... Yes that's right! GO TRY THEM! PLEASE you won't regret it :'D xxx

Hand and lip products haul/opinions!

Okay so I maaaaay have bought waaay too many chapsticks hahaha woopsies!
Ok So firstly I got these 3 sets of chapsticks! They come in the cutest little box tins ever with different patterns on! I got these from costco for a really reasonable price (I am sorry I can't remember but it was around £6) Each tin consists of 3 different flavour chapsticks, apple, cherry and strawberry! yum! (hard to resist eating them...but I won't don't worry...)

Next I got these two body shop lip balms. There was an offer on 3 for 2 and I gave one of the lip balms to my friend. The first one is watermelon, and I must say YUM x10000! This lip balm is one of my favourite lip balms ever, they are really moisturising however I do have to keep applying it because it dries after 5 minutes  or so. The next one I got in passionberry and if I am honest, I was expecting a better smell, i'm not saying it smells bad, just my expectations got the better of me! They do not in any way tint the lips, they are just lip balms. My challenge is for The Body Shop to create tinted lip balms! Who's with me on this?!

I also took a trip down the hand cream isle. When I spotted vaseline out of a tin I was like 'WHAT?!' I had no idea they did other things than the lip products! This is now my FAVOURITE hand cream ever, what made me buy it was the claim that it 'absorbs instantly' and boy oh boy does it keep to that promise! What I normally hate about hand creams is that they're sticky and once you apply them you can't do anything until they dry, but this is just 10/10! And it makes my hands feel super super soft and it smells delicious! I will definitely be repurchasing this! (I am also noticing that my nails are becoming much stronger which I was surprised at because normally products claim to strengthen nails and don't tend to work but this does!)

Lastly I picked up the antibacterial gel from a brand called 'cuticura', oh wow this smells so good! It's really fast drying and the reason why I bought this was because I have a practice D.O.E expedition (duke of edinburgh) this weekend and I need to keep clean and bacteria free! (wish me luck by the way haha)

I would love to know if you have tried any of these and what you think of them and if they worked for you! Also does anyone know if vaseline do any other type of products? Please leave a comment if you have any idea please thank you hahaha! I will love you forever x x x

Summer is just around the corner!

Summer is just around the corner! I took a few snaps yesterday in my garden of flowers and thought that I'd share 'em with you! Some remind me of Autumn (mainly the orange leafy type ones) and some of Spring (the pink ones!) but the bright yellow ones are Summery all over! I am sooo excited for Summer (hopefully I'll be able to witness Summer without hay-fever getting in the way of things ha ha) Yes I am a big sufferer of the pollen so yep I'll be praying for that!

The PERFECT night in

After a long week of working or revising, life can get pretty tough. In order to maintain that happy lifestyle we all need to take those couple of hours to ourselves to just sit and relax, eat chocolate, watch TV or maybe read. Here are some of my top tips for the perfect night in!

1. Put on your Pj's!

Nothing is better than coming home to your nice warm pj's -sometimes here is a little tip, it's nice to (especially in Winter) put your pj's on the radiator ready for you to come home to!

2. Light a candle or two

Candles, candles, candles! What I'd do without them, I do not know. Candles not only smell great but they're soooo good when you want to wind down and relax. Pick out your favourite scent or maybe even colour. (keep in mind not all candles are scented)

3. Have a hot bath

This has to be my favourite part! Bubble bath, bath bombs, body scrub, what says pamper night better than these words right here?! Go get yourself some bath goodies, treat yourself! Sometimes if I can be bothered I try to read in the bath however this does take a bit of skill trying not to drop the book into the bath-trust me, been there, done that! (ha ha ha-woopsies!)

4. Face mask time!

Slather on a nice cool face mask, it will do wonders for your skin especially after a hot bath because it opens up all your pores! I like either the body shop face masks or the ones from lush! (The ones from lush are made from real fruit and make my skin super soft!) Remember to tie your hair back properly unless you want face mask hair.. and that is not a good look.

5. Grab a good book!

Whether it's a mystery, action, romance or thriller! Whatever takes your fancy! Personally I'd choose an action/mystery/romance type book but that's just me. If your brain is saying no, try reading a calm happy book however if it's being brainy (ok shhh i know i know.. brains are always brainy but you know what I was getting at..) then maybe go for a mystery of some sort.

6. Indulge in some chocolate

Yes, the rumor is true, chocolate does make us humans happy! 'Part of the pleasure of eating chocolate is ascribed to the fact that its melting point is slightly below human body temperature; it melts in the mouth. Chocolate intake has been linked with release of serotonin in the brain, which is thought to produce feelings of pleasure.'  Aha! Now there's one to tell the dentist!

7. H20

Water is a great way to combat blemishes! Drink plenty of water! Also it's cool and refreshing for you if you want to take a healthy side on the 'night in'. Also along with being healthy you could grab some fruit or even go all out there and make a fruit salad! Go ahead! Knock yourself out! (not literally please, ha ha!)

8. Listen to your favourite tunes

I personally love listening to my iPod when I'm trying to relax, If you don't own an iPod maybe go on YouTube and search for your favourite songs! Or perhaps if you have CD's! Don't play it too loud- don't want to upset the neighbours! (or your ears)

9. Movie time!

Watch one of your favourite movies! Comedy? Romance? Again...whatever takes your fancy! If you want to chuckle your heads off I would recommend Stepbrothers! One of my all time favourites!

10. Last but not least...

Snuggle up in your duvet... lights out (remember to blow out the candles) have the perfect nights sleep!

Review: Rimmel London 60 seconds and I heart lasting finish nail varnishes

1. 705 tangy tangerine
2. 405 rose libertine
3. 704 sweet as sugar

These nail varnishes are sooo cute! The colours of them are beautiful as you can see for yourself and not only do they dry in 60 seconds but they last a long time before they start to chip. Rimmel London's nail varnishes are no doubt my favourite nail varnishes of all time. I absolutely love the colours they come out with from pastels to sparkles, from metallics to neons. They really are gorgeous... and for an extreme bargain! They're usually from either £2.99 to £3.99. I would definitely recommend you try these! You will not be disappointed. :')

1. (precious stones) 002 ruby crush
2. 320 rapid ruby
3. 610 pompous
4. 810 blue my mind
5. 819 green with envy

-Leave a comment if you've tried any of these and tell me what you think of them! Thanks for reading :')
